Anthony Williams – President

Anthony Williams holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University. He has eight years of service as a U.S. Army Commissioned Engineer Officer, including one tour in Egypt and two combat tours in Iraq. He has managed over $150 million of construction projects over thirteen years in the industry. Anthony maintains overall responsibility of all daily operations, planning, management, logistics, accounting, estimating, and business development for SAW Contracting. 

Chris Carawan – Vice President / Project Manager

Chris Carawan has over twenty years of construction management experience on projects in excess of $150 million cumulative. He has been personally responsible for the bidding, operations, and completion of over sixty federal government projects for nearly every government agencies including NAVFAC, USACE, Army DPW, NOAA, USGC, and US Air Force. Chris is responsible for project budgets, construction schedules, and the overall management and operations of numerous construction projects. 

Curtis Bowen – Project Manager

Curtis Bowen holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Old Dominion University. He has over 25 years of construction management experience and successfully completed over 340 projects ranging from a few thousand dollars up to $33 million dollars. He has delivered renovation and new construction projects including design/build, bid/build, higher education, and service contracts for government clients. Curtis is responsible for project budgets, construction schedules, and the overall management and operations of numerous construction projects.

Jen Stone – Project Manager

Jen Stone is a Navy Veteran holding a Bachelor of Science in Communication from University of Maine. She has over 30 years of construction management on single projects valued up to $100 Million. She has specialized in healthcare and MEP projects with NAVFAC, USACE, and NASA. She has developed expertise in leadership, construction contract administration, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating and project management. .

Monica Williams – Human Resources Director / Contract Administrator

Monica Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from Christopher Newport University. She has worked in contract administration and human resources functions for seven years and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), holding both SHRM-CP and PHR certifications. Monica is responsible for all Human Resource functions, Contract Administration for subcontracts and purchase orders, and insurance.

Christine Thrall – Corporate Accountant

Christine Thrall holds a Bachelor of Arts Summa Cum Laude in Business Administration from St. Leo University and has over 35 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience. Chris is responsible for all financial record keeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxes, business licenses, and financial reporting.
