The Associated Builders and Contractors awarded SAW Contracting with the highest level safety award, the Diamond Level Award. This STEP program (Safety, Training, Evaluation, Process) is a world-class safety management system that dramatically improves safety performance. Participating ABC member firms measure their safety processes and policies on 25 key components with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that reduce jobsite incidents.

For 2020, the Associated General Contractors of Virginia awarded SAW Contracting with the National AGC Safety Award for the Building Division Category 1.

2019 Associated Builders and Contractors Excellence in Construction Award 

 

In October 2019, the Associated Builders and Contractors presented SAW with the Award of Excellence in the category of Medical – New Construction (under $15 million) for the Linear Accelerator Building Addition project at H.H. McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA.

 

2014 City of Virginia Beach Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business of the Year Award

 

In November 2014, the City of Virginia Beach held its Annual MBC Conference and Expo. The Minority Business Council and current Mayor Bobby Dyer awarded SAW Contracting with the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business of the Year. We are proud to have worked with and received this award from the City of Virginia Beach, our home office city.
