RENOVATE PHARMACY USP 797/800

 

 

Location: Hampton VAMC

Scope of Work: Federal Government Design/Build project to design and renovate the Pharmacy to comply with the new U.S. Pharmacopeia Convention (USP) 800 and 797 codes and regulations.

In addition, design, procure and install a mobile Pharmacy trailer to be utilized as temporary compounding space during construction and to remain in place for future Pharmacy operations.

The design includes fully signed and sealed contract drawings and specifications.

The renovation of spaces for Ad-mixture, Unpacking, Ante-rooms, Oncology, and other associated existing pharmacy space include HVAC systems and controls, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, and electrical systems.

IMPROVE PATIENT PRIVACY 4C

 

Location: Richmond, VA

Scope of work: Federal Government project to completely demolish and renovate 7,500 square feet of thirteen Patient Privacy Rooms, the Waiting Room, Corridors, and fifteen bathrooms.  Work includes asbestos abatement, new wall partitions, doors, frames, hardware and ceilings, new exterior windows and window shades, new sheet flooring and ceramic tile, patient bed service walls, ceiling mounted patient lift systems, bathroom accessories and curtains, wall and door protection, and casework. Specialized systems include new HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, fire alarm, nurse call, telecom, & card readers.

BATHROOM UPGRADES

 

 

Location: Hampton VAMC

Scope of Work: Federal Government project to demolish, renovate, and upgrade 134 bathrooms in 16 buildings throughout the entire Hampton VAMC campus.

Work included demolition; asbestos and lead abatement; new ceilings, walls, and ceramic tile; and new toilet accessories, bathroom partitions, water heaters, sinks, urinals, and toilets, HVAC fans, and lights.

LINEAR ACCELERATOR BUILDING

 

Location: H.H. McGuire Medical Center, Richmond, VA

Scope of work: Two phased federal government project to construct a new Linear Accelerator Building and renovate the existing Radiology Oncology areas of the existing Linear Accelerator Buildings. Renovation of the existing 2700 square foot area will be completed in occupied areas, requiring close coordination with VAMC staff and patients. New construction consists of a 1825 square foot concrete vault with radiation treatment, high density block, and specialized mechanical and HVAC systems.

MENTAL HEALTH BUILDING

 

Location: Hampton VA Medical Center, Hampton, VA

Scope of work: Demolish the Director’s Buildings 6, 107 and 124, and construct a new 25,000 square foot, two story Mental Health Facility. Scope of work included foundations, sitework, and building concrete; structural steel, and roofing. Interior build out includes eighty rooms for caseworkers, psychologists, and social workers and ten group therapy rooms with operable partitions. Specialized systems include fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, nurse call, PA system, voice/data, access control, and surveillance.

BUILDING 148 ROOF REPLACEMENT

 

Location: Hampton VA Medical Center, Hampton, VA

Scope of work: Demolish and install approximately 31,000 square feet of roofing for five separate buildings. Work includes removal of existing roofing system components including gravel surfacing, membrane flashings, pitch pockets, edge metal and terminations. New roofing consists of a Wind Vented 80 Mil PVC Membrane Roofing System and new resin based flashing for all roof penetrations, conduits, and roof pipes. Other supporting roof work includes new tapered insulation, overflow scuppers, and aluminum flashing and fascia.

CART WASH RENOVATION FOR STERILE PROCESSING SERVICE

 

Location: Hampton VA Medical Center, Hampton, VA

Scope of work: Demolition and installation of the cart washers. Scope of work includes demolition of concrete slabs, new building concrete; interior partitions and finishes, and associated work for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
